Set the display theme

Goal

You'll pick how Measured Cloud looks: Light, Dark, or System (follow your operating system's appearance). The choice is a personal, per-browser preference — it's remembered in the browser and applied before the first paint, so there's no flash on reload.

Prereqs

• Any signed-in role. The theme is a personal display preference, not an org setting — every seat (including billing-only and viewers) can set it, and it affects only your own browser.

Steps

1. Click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar to open the user menu.
2. Under Theme, pick Light, Dark, or System. The app switches immediately and the menu stays open, so you can compare.

Verify

• Picking Dark flips the whole app to the dark palette right away.
• Picking System and then changing your operating system's appearance flips the app to match, without a reload.
• Reloading the page keeps your choice.

Notes

• Table density. Earlier releases had a Comfortable / Compact density switch in the sidebar. It has been retired from the menu; a browser that saved Compact before keeps it. Row actions and tables otherwise use one standard spacing.
• Simple mode (a business-friendly view toggle) has been retired: the whole app now uses the plain-language vocabulary it introduced.
